As part of the STEM extracurricular activity in growing plants for students from 1st to 4th grade - Little ecologists, the pupils of our school in Marinci had a try at microscopy for the first time. After getting to know the parts of the microscope and its purpose, they started making the preparations by themselves. They observed green mold and bacteria, and it was especially interesting to observe their reactions of surprise and delight with what they saw. Visual materials and practical work give a more concrete meaning to natural science topics, and this time our students were especially interested in the "invisible". They cannot wait to "peek under the microscope" again.
