Last week, from 10th to 12th May, as a part of the project “Strengthening STEM skills through ecology in the Elementary school Zrinskih Nuštar” - EKO-RURAL4STEM, Elementary school Zrinskih Nuštar hosted the Norwegian partner, the Department of Electronic Systems from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Bojana Gajić, prof. and Eirik Lyngvær, prof. held interesting workshops for us on the topic of electricity and electromagnetic induction, as well as using Micro:bit for the students’ STEM projects. We got acquainted with an alternative approach in teaching the basics of electric circuits and electromagnetic induction, and the methods of experiential learning by using different didactical materials.

We are looking forward to continuing the activities with our students who, with the help of new didactic equipment and materials, will have the opportunity to acquire new STEM skills in robotics and energy.
